Huntington Ingalls Industries' VP Of Program Management Richard Schenk To Retire

Huntington Ingalls Industries Inc HII said its Vice President of Program Management, Richard Schenk, would Retire on July 1. He would have served 33 years of service when he retires, according to the company.

Huntington Ingalls said Kari Wilkinson would succeed him effective May 23. Aside from these, the company also elevated Mike Duthu, as its VP for business development with immediate effect.

The company's President, Brian Cuccias, said "Richard has made significant contributions to our past, current and future business objectives and we owe him our gratitude and thanks. He has excelled in everything he has done at Ingalls—from his leadership and experience to his professionalism and loyalty—and is truly a shipbuilder in every sense of the word."

Huntington said Wilkinson would be held responsible for every execution of the program, financial performance and solicitations of the portfolio of ships built by it.

On Monday, the stock lost 0.12 percent.
