Benzinga's Experience With Comcast: A Channel Check?

Comcast Corporation CMCSA ranks lowest of all Internet providers for customer satisfaction, according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index.

Channel checks are always helpful. Benzinga had its own unforante experience with Comcast this week. After having several internet issues at the beginning of the year, we had almost a month of service.

Wednesday

Internet cuts out at Benzinga HQ (Don't worry, we have backup 4G).

A subcontracted tech arrives and determines the issue is with the line into the building. We are assured a team will be out that evening to resolve the line issue. No one arrives.

Thursday

No rep arrives to repair lines. Benzinga calls and is assured someone will be out Thursday. Despite promises we will be called with updates, no calls arrive.

Friday

No rep arrives to repair lines. Benzinga calls and is assured someone will be out Friday. Despite promises we will be called with updates, no calls arrive.

Saturday

Comcast has been called two times with the promise we will be contacted with an update within one hour. Still nothing.

Shares of Comcast closed at $61.60 on Friday.
