Lions Gate Teams With Kevin Hart For Streaming Service 'Laugh Out Loud'

Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. LGF is poised to join the VOD revolution this fall with a new streaming service called "Laugh Out Loud." The service will feature content from Lions Gate's vast library as well as brand new content curated and created by comedian Kevin Hart.

Outside of his feature films and touring projects, the red-hot A-lister will put all of his efforts towards creating programming for the channel which include a new hidden camera series.

Hart will also enlist rising up-and-comer comedians and top social media personalities to populate projects.

The deal also includes a brand new Kevin Hart-branded social adventure mobile game that gives player the ability to simulate the life of a comedy star with Hart as their mentor. Gamers will negotiate a virtual career that includes comedy tours, movie deals and other business ventures.

For Lions Gate, this will mark its third new over-the-top venture following Tribeca ShortList and Comic-Con HQ.

"Laugh Out Loud" is expected to debut in the fall.
