ISIS Group Claims Hacking Thousands of Facebook & Twitter Accounts, Threatens Mark Zuckerberg & Jack Dorsey

A new video released by ISIS militant group has claimed that it hacked more than 10,000 Facebook accounts, more than 150 Facebook groups and more than 5,000 Twitter profiles. The group have also threatened the CEO's of Facebook Inc FB and Twitter Inc TWTR over their efforts to erase accounts promoting terrorism.

The group claims that "many of these accounts have been given to supporters and if Allah permits the rest of them will be distributed also."

In the video, released by a group calling themselves "Sons Caliphate Army", the pictures of Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey were being pierced with bullets.

Following is the threat to Zuckerberg and Dorsey overwritten on the video:

"To Mark and Jack, founders of Twitter and Facebook and to their Crusader government.
"You announce daily that you suspend many of our accounts.
"And to you we say: Is that all you can do?"
"You are not in our league. If you close one account we will take 10 in return and soon your names will be erased after we delete you sites, Allah willing, and will know that we say is true."

A Twitter spokesperson told TechInsider that the company wouldn't be releasing any response, mostly because these threats are now so common.

"It just happens all the time," the spokesperson said. "Welcome to our everyday life."
