China Sunergy Supplies 2.5 MW of Solar Modules for Solar Farm Located at London Southend Airport PV Project

today announced that it had successfully completed a 2.5MW solar module supply agreement with Stobart Group. The modules will be used for the construction of the solar farm located at London Southend Airport owned by Stobart Group to satisfy around 20% of the airport's annual electricity requirement. The solar array, which consists of over 9,500 individual solar panels and occupies 3.2 hectares of unused grassland at the north of the airport site, makes it the largest at a UK airport.  "I am pleased that our solar products were accepted by Stobart Group for its symbolic airport PV project and delighted to see that the quality of our products together with our knowhow in solar industry has helped us get access to a wider customer base," said Mr.Tingxiu Lu, chief executive officer of CSUN.
