is pleased to announce the sale of three CM-75 combined heat and power (CHP) modules to a luxury multi-unit residential high rise near Rittenhouse Square Park in Philadelphia PA. Tecogen Inc. logo. "Although Philadelphia does have some incentives for CHP, sales into this market really have to stand on their own merits," said Robert Panora, Tecogen President and Chief Operating Officer. "This sale demonstrates that our customers understand the full value proposition and attractive return on investment offered by Tecogen's clean energy solutions." Powering the 26-floor tower's residences, fitness center, and commercial spaces, the microgrid will generate electricity and hot water for the building at less than half the cost and carbon output of traditional technologies. The sale also includes certain load modules and various Tecogen engineered accessories, helping ensure a smooth installation process for the customer. In addition to the equipment and installation accessories, the customer selected a full long term maintenance service agreement. "Service contracts ensure peak performance and operational efficiency throughout the life of the equipment and provide hassle-free long term peace of mind for customers," Mr. Panora added.
