Wednesday's After-Hours Movers: PBF Energy, BioMarin Pharmaceutical And More

Shares of PHI Inc. PHIIK were up almost 6 percent in Wednesday’s after-hours session, recuperating some of the ground lost (9.06 percent) during the day.

PBF Energy Inc PBF was up more than 8 percent after the company announced that it will buy a 155,000 barrel-per-day Torrance refinery (and its related logistics assets) from Exxon Mobil Corporation XOM for $537.5 million, plus working capital that will be valued at the closing of the agreement.

PBF Logistics LP PBFX was also surging almost 6 percent.

One of the biggest losers was BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. BMRN, down more than 8 percent since the market closed. The decline followed the announcement that “the company will present research results at the 20th International Congress of the World Muscle Society, including one oral presentation in Pompe disease and two posters each in Duchenne muscular dystrophy and Pompe disease program."

Also falling after hours are:

Baytex Energy Corp (USA) BTE, down almost 8 percent.

Dominion Diamond Corp DDC, down 8.3 percent, following an 8 percent surge over the regular session.

Allergan PLC AGN, down more than 7 percent.

Universal Insurance Holdings, Inc. UVE, down about 7 percent.

Golar LNG Limited (USA) GLNG, up more than 5.5 percent.
