NextEra Energy Partners Prices 8M Unit Offering @$26.00/Unit

NextEra Energy Partners, LP

announced Thursday, the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 8,000,000 common units representing limited partner interests in NextEra Energy Partners at a price of $26.00 per common unit. The underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,200,000 common units from NextEra Energy Partners on the same terms. The public offering is expected to close on Sept. 16, 2015, subject to customary closing conditions. Gross proceeds to NextEra Energy Partners from the sale of 8,000,000 common units will be approximately $208 million. NextEra Energy Partners intends to use the net proceeds of the public offering to repay amounts owed under a $313 million term loan (the "Term Loan"). A subsidiary of NextEra Energy, Inc.

has agreed to purchase directly from NextEra Energy Operating Partners, LP $702 million of its common units at the offering price paid by purchasers in the public offering (the "Private Placement").
