, a leading provider of cancer-focused genetic testing services, announced today that it has entered into a national group purchasing agreement with Premier, Inc. Premier is a leading healthcare improvement company uniting an alliance of approximately 3,600 U.S. hospitals and 120,000 other providers, and is widely recognized as operating one of the largest healthcare group purchasing organizations (GPO) in the United States. The three year agreement secures for NeoGenomics the distinction of becoming the first specialized oncology reference laboratory to become a preferred in-network lab option for all Premier member hospitals, cancer centers, pathology groups, and oncology/physician providers nationwide. The agreement is comprehensive in nature, and includes full access to the entire menu of oncology testing services offered by NeoGenomics, including NeoGenomics' industry-leading line of innovative and cost-effective NeoTYPE™ Cancer Profiles based on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). These new advanced cancer-profiling tools offer oncologists and pathologists a more targeted and comprehensive ability to tailor cancer testing to an individual patient's needs than has ever been available before.
