Cardtronics Expands Airport Presence With New Agreements

today announced agreements to place ATMs at three major U.S. airports: Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Lambert-St. Louis International Airport and San Antonio International Airport. Cardtronics is the world's largest retail ATM owner / operator. According to the agreements, Cardtronics will place 11 new ATMs throughout the Cleveland terminal, and two each in St. Louis and San Antonio, making cash readily available to the millions of travelers passing through those airports. These new deals expand Cardtronics' U.S. airport portfolio to more than 190 ATMs, with services ranging from transaction processing to full turnkey support. AIRMALL at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport Vice President Tina LaForte said: "At Airmall, we are always looking for ways to provide quality, value, choice and convenience to travelers. These Cardtronics ATMs will give passengers easy and reliable access to their funds and financial institutions on every step of their journeys. In addition to Cleveland International Airport, ATMs were placed in CLE's consolidated car rental facility and the Burke Lakefront Airport, ensuring travelers are never far from an ATM." Cardtronics President, North American Business Group, David Dove said: "Cardtronics' placement of ATMs at these airports will increase convenience for travelers, connecting consumers to their cash while creating new branding opportunities for financial institutions in attractive, high-traffic locations."
