US Stock Futures Rise Ahead Of ADP Report

US stock futures traded higher in early pre-market trade. Data on motor vehicle sales for June will be released today. The ADP employment report for June will be released at 8:15 a.m. ET, while the PMI manufacturing index for June will be released at 9:45 a.m. ET. The ISM manufacturing composite index for June and construction spending data for May will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 143 points to 17,666.0, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures rose 15.55 points to 2,070.05. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index climbed 36.55 points to 4,426.80.

European markets were higher today, with the Spanish Ibex Index rising 1.76 percent, STOXX Europe 600 Index surging 1.71 percent and German DAX 30 index climbing 2.16 percent. French CAC 40 Index jumped 2.54 percent and London's FTSE 100 Index rose 1.45 percent. In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rose 0.46 percent, China's Shanghai Composite Index dipped 5.23 percent and India's BSE Sensex gained 0.86 percent.

Analysts at Bank of America upgraded

from Underperform to Neutral and raised the price target from $30.00 to $46.00. ConAgra Foods shares rose 0.67 percent to close at $43.72 on Tuesday.
