6 IPOs Hit Market Thursday; Half Below Price-Talk Range

Among the busiest days of the year for IPOs on Thursday eight issues were slated for pricing overnight and only six made it, according to a report.

Half the issues were set at below their earlier price-talk range, with only one, Glaukos Corp GKOS, priced above the range, according to CNBC.

"Buyers are telling the sellers that there is too much product and they don't want a lot of it, or at least not at the prices being floated," CNBC's Bob Pisani said.

Recent pricings include:

Catabasis Pharmaceuticals Inc CATB on Thursday priced a 5 million share initial public offering at $12 a share.

Gener8 Maritime Inc GNRT priced its IPO of 15 million shares at $14 a share.
