US Stock Futures Surge Ahead Of ADP Report, Beige Book

US stock futures traded higher in early pre-market trade. The ADP national employment report for May will be released at 8:15 a.m. ET, while international trade data for April will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET. US services Purchasing Managers' Index for May will be released at 9:45 a.m. ET, while the ISM non-manufacturing index for May will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. The Fed will release its latest Beige Book report at 2:00 p.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 67.50 points to 18,068.50, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures rose 8.40 points to 2,115.15. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index gained 23.10 points to 4,526.10.

European markets were mostly lower today, with the Spanish Ibex Index rising 0.39 percent, STOXX Europe 600 Index surging 0.45 percent and German DAX 30 index gaining 0.70 percent. French CAC 40 Index jumped 0.80 percent and London's FTSE 100 Index rose 0.31 percent. In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei Stock Average fell 0.34 percent, China's Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.01 percent, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index climbed 0.69 percent and India's BSE Sensex fell 1.29 percent.

Analysts at Morgan Stanley downgraded

from Overweight to Equal-weight and raised the price target from $18.00 to $19.00. Dean Foods shares fell 0.43 percent to close at $18.53 yesterday.
