Shares of
Digital Ally, Inc. were trading higher by nearly 2 percent Wednesday afternoon after traders and investors passed around a report by
GovTribe which suggested the U.S. Air Force is looking in to Digital Ally's products.

According to the filing pertaining to Digital Ally, the 502d Contracting Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) – Lackland is "seeking sources capable of providing personnel, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the services identified in the description of services."
An accompanying Request for Information page indicates the Air Force is requesting pricing on six units of Digital Ally's DVM250 Plus 32G Main Unit.
According to Digital Ally's website, the DVM250 Video Event Data Recorder (VEDR) records video and audio inside and video outside of a vehicle. Models of the base DVM250 VEDR sell for $995 each with a the "Plus" version selling for $1,295.00.
The product requires minimal or no driver actions required and comes equipped with a GPS receiver and antenna.
The Request for Information document also noted that the request is for "planning purposes only and shall NOT be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services, and does NOT constitute a commitment (implied or otherwise) that a procurement action will be issued."
Finally, the Request for Information document is asking Digital Ally to respond no later than 12:00 p.m. CST on May 25, 2015.Loading...
