on Sunday, that the company may be a takeover target for Hunan Xindaxin, as it was in 2014. Hunan Xindaxin bid $2.50 per share in November 2014, but Origin's Board said the offer was not in the best interest of the company. Origin Agritech shares closed at $1.55 Monday, a gain of 46%.
