US Stock Futures Edge Lower Ahead Of Existing-Home Sales Data

US stock futures traded slightly lower in early pre-market trade. The Chicago Fed National Activity Index for February will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET, while existing home sales data for February will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 9.50 points to 18,023.50, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures fell 1.30 points to 2,097.95. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index slipped 2.55 points to 4,444.70.

European markets were mostly lower today, with the Spanish Ibex Index dropping 0.10%, STOXX Europe 600 Index falling 0.93% and German DAX 30 index dropping 1.38%. French CAC 40 Index slipped 0.96% and London's FTSE 100 Index rose 0.60%. In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei Stock Average climbed 0.99%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 0.49%, China's Shanghai Composite Index gained 1.95% and India's BSE Sensex slipped 0.24%.

Analysts at RBC Capital downgraded

from Outperform to Sector Perform and lowered the price target from $175.00 to $170.00. Perrigo shares fell 1.26% to $170.70 in pre-market trading.
