now offers its
BlackBerry Enterprise Server 12 platform
, its secure messaging and productivity offering. BlackBerry describes BES12 as the foundation of its portfolio, highlighting the company's secure service offerings that are of interest particularly at the enterprise level. BES12 allows enterprises to manage mobility across iOS, Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry devices. BlackBerry expects BES12 to help the company increase double its software revenues to $500 million this year. BlackBerry continues to pour resources into its enterprise division, which has a competitive advantage over other smartphone providers with respect to information security. Specifically, BlackBerry's enterprise mobility and security products are used by "all G7 governments, 16 of the G20 governments, ten out of ten of the largest global banks and global law firms, and the top five largest managed healthcare, investment services, and oil and gas companies." In premarket trading, BlackBerry is indicated 0.8 percent higher to $10.90.
