Twitter Inc TWTR announced on Tuesday the introduction of syndicated, Promoted Tweets on the venture capital-backed Flipboard.

Twitter’s blog noted that Tweets are unique in that they can flow to other mediums and that in the third quarter of 2014 alone there were “approximately 185 Billion Tweet impressions off of Twitter.”

The partnership will allow a for a Promoted Tweet campaign on Twitter to reach a similar audience on Flipboard with the “look and feel that is native to the Flipboard experience.”

“This is the first of many opportunities to create such campaigns, one that provides great content and monetization opportunities for our syndication partners, provides high ROI for marketers, and, ultimately, a great experience for users,” according to Twitter.

SunTrust analyst Bob Peck commented on the news and suggested that Tweet monetization will accelerate as Twitter makes similar deals with other platforms.

Twitter Inc recently traded at $38.75, up 3.44 percent.
