Space Exploration Technologies Corp. will attempt another rocket landing on its so-called drone ship within three weeks, according to Chief Executive Elon Musk.

The privately-held company, also known as SpaceX, successfully sent a Dragon resupply unit to the International Space Station last week.

But plans to recover the Falcon rocket by having it land on a barge in the Atlantic Ocean failed in a fiery explosion.

Musk, who released photos of the explosion on Friday, said the next rocket will be "carrying way more hydraulic fluid" relative to last week.
