Among the host of hedge funds loading up on the Chinese Internet company in the third quarter were David Tepper's Appaloosa Management Fund, Julian Robertson's Tiger Management, Paulson & Co. and Soros's Fund Management LLC. Jana Partners increased its stake in Hertz Global Holdings, Inc.

to 10 million shares in the recent period, from 5.9 million in its prior filling. Carl Icahn's Icahn Capital LP also loaded up on Hertz, which now accounts for nearly 3 percent of his portfolio. accounts for 30 percent of Seth Klarman's Baupost Group's investments according to his latest filing. Both Greenlight and Appaloosa trimmed their holdings in the ever-popular Apple Inc.
