Julian Robertson's Tiger Management 13F Reveals Huge Alibaba Stake

Julian Robertson’s Tiger Management 13F filing was released Friday.

The document shows a new position in Alibaba Group Holding Ltd BABA at 1.2 million shares.

Valued at more than $108 million in the filing, it is the firm’s largest holding and represents nearly 30 percent of all the holdings at the time of the filing.

Based on Friday’s market price for Alibaba of $115.10, Tiger’s holding is now worth nearly $140 million.

The next largest holding was Gilead Sciences, Inc. GILD which came in at 13 percent of the holdings. The fund maintained its position at 443,911 shares.

eBay Inc EBAY is another new holding, coming in at 496,400 shares and 7 percent of the fund’s holdings.

Pandora Media Inc P showed an increase from 39,500 to 53,600 shares.

Apple Inc. AAPL shares were trimmed from 17,500 to 15,900 as was Facebook Inc FB from 341,500 to 303,400 shares and 6 percent of holdings.
