WSJ, that Japan's SoftBank Corp. SFTBY was looking at the assets of the Mexican telecom company, headed by Chairman Carlos Slim. Sources say Sprint Corporation S CEO Marcelo Claure, was assigned the task of gathering information on America Movils assets, which may be worth as much as $15 billion, according to a Bank of America analyst. America Movil closed Thursday at $23.98, a gain of $0.09. Perrigo Rumored to be in Exclusive Talks to Purchase Omega Pharma The Rumor:
Shares of Perrigo Company Public Limited Company PRGO rose Thursday, on report from Bloomberg, that the Ireland-domiciled healthcare prodcuts company was in exclusive talks to acquire UK-based Omega Pharma, according to sources. Similar rumors have been reported since August involving Perrigo, as wells as Actavis ACT and Sanofi SNY. Perrigo closed Thursday at $161.33, a gain of 4%. EXL Acquires Overland Solutions for $53M in Cash The Deal:
Exlservice Holdings, Inc EXLS announced Thursday, the acquisition of provider of underwriting support services, Overland Solutions, Inc., for $53 million in cash. Exlservice gained 1% Thursday, to close at $27.92.
