The Walt Disney Company Launches Toy Line On Back Of 'Big Hero 6'

The Walt Disney Company DIS rolled out a line of toys based on its forthcoming animated comedy-adventure film "Big Hero 6."

The Burbank, California-based company spiked briefly on the news but traded recently down 0.26 percent to $89.69 per share.

The animated feature film opens November 7 and is based on the super hero characters of the same name published by Marvel Comics.

The film and product line marks the first partnership between Disney and Marvel since the comics company was acquired by Disney in 2009.

Disney's product line related to the upcoming film includes action figures, plush, role-play toys, apparel, home décor and books and will be available at mass and specialty retailers nationwide, Disney Stores and DisneyStore.com.
