Planet Payment Launches Canadian Terminal With Dynamic Currency Conversion

a leading provider of international and multi-currency payment processing services, today announced the availability of a new terminal application with dynamic currency conversion for the Ingenico Tellium 2® suite of products. The terminal application supports the major international card types and Interac®, Canada's leading payment brand and is fully EMV Chip and Pin enabled. The application also features Pay in Your Currency®, Planet Payment's Dynamic Currency Conversion solution. With Pay in Your Currency, the international customer is provided the choice to complete the transaction in their own currency, or in Canadian dollars. The customer gets the benefit of knowing, at the time of the transaction, exactly how much they are spending in their own currency, while the merchant continues to receive settlement in Canadian dollars. This stand-alone terminal application will be rolled out to Planet Payment Canada's network of ISOs, acquirers and merchants. Ingenico has been a leader in the payment terminal industry for the past 30 years. The Ingenico Telium 2 offers reinforced payment security by integrating added features, like deletion of sensitive data and terminal cut-off. It also streamlines management of multiple applications and services, whether its credit or debit operations or EMV chip, mobile NFC and contactless payments.
