Advanced Micro Devices Seeks Support From Partners

Advanced Mirco Devices, Inc. AMD CEO Lisa Su has planned visits to Lenovo Group Limited (ADR), Asustek Computer, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Taiwan Semiconductor (ADR) and Acer Incorporated, Digitimes.com reported.

According to the report, "AMD is also looking to receive partners' support for its entry into the tablet, smartphone and wearable device markets."

The meetings are to explain the company’s latest product roadmap, according to sources in the supply chain.

In mid-October, Advanced Micro Devices disappointed investors with its Q3 results and analysts saw a transition ahead for the company.

Advanced Micro Devices recently traded at $2.69, up 1.32 percent.
