TeamHealth Acquires Premier Physician Services

, one of the nation's largest providers of outsourced physician staffing solutions for hospitals, announced the acquisition of Premier Physician Services, Inc. (Premier). Based in Dayton, Ohio, Premier was established in 1987 and provides emergency department, hospital medicine, correctional care and occupational medicine management and staffing for facilities in Ohio and six other states. Through the management and staffing of 45 emergency departments, eight hospital medicine programs, 15 occupational medicine programs and 15 correctional care programs, Premier provides care for more than one million patients annually.
