Chemtura Names Simon Medley Executive VP, Industrial Performance Products And Great Lakes Solutions

Medley will assume leadership of Chemtura's Great Lakes Solutions business in addition to his current role as head of the Company's Industrial Performance Products (IPP) segment. "Focus on value creation and the markets are hallmarks of Simon's disciplined leadership of IPP's Petroleum Additives and Urethanes businesses," said Craig A. In his expanded role, Medley has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Industrial Performance Products and Great Lakes Solutions. Great Lakes Solutions, a leading manufacturer of bromine and bromine-based products, is one of two business components of Chemtura's Industrial Engineered Products (IEP) segment. The other IEP business, Organometallics, will continue reporting to Alan M. Swiech, Executive Vice President, Support Services.
