Andrew Hersom Joins People's United Bank As Senior VP, Investor Relations

People's United Bank announced today its appointment of Andrew Hersom as Senior Vice President, Investor Relations, responsible for the organization's investor relations. Peter Goulding, who previously led both investor relations and corporate development, will now focus on the latter as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategic Planning at People's United. Hersom joins People's United from The Travelers Co. where he was Director, Investor Relations, responsible for developing and delivering effective and consistent communications to investors, financial analysts and the market while partnering with senior leadership on competitive and market activity. Prior to that, Hersom was a financial analyst with Citigroup and he began his career with the Internal Revenue Service. A resident of Glastonbury, CT, Hersom graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Providence College and holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
