, a leading industrial real estate company, announced today the acquisition of a 750,000 square foot bulk distribution building located in the Central Valley submarket of Tracy, California. The modern, Class A facility is 100 percent leased on a long-term basis to a strong-credit tenant and is centrally located with access to Interstate 5 and Highways 580 and 205. “We are excited about the addition of this state-of-the-art asset located in one of the most important submarkets in Northern California,” said David Haugen, Regional Vice President, DCT Industrial. “This acquisition not only adds an excellent building to our portfolio but also a high-quality tenant.” The seller, an affiliate of Transpacific Development Company, was represented by John Huguenard, International Director, and Bo Mills, Managing Director, of Jones Lang LaSalle. “We are pleased to have delivered our tenant into the very capable hands of the DCT team,” said Tom Irish, President of Transpacific Development Company. “DCT's execution of this transaction was terrific, and we can see why they are one of the top real estate firms in the U.S. today.” This acquisition brings DCT Industrial's Northern California consolidated portfolio to 3.9 million square feet.
