Myriad Appoints R. Bryan Riggsbee As CFO

today announced the appointment of R. Bryan Riggsbee as executive vice president, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer effective October 16, 2014. Jim Evans will continue in his role as Chief Financial Officer through the transition to Mr. Riggsbee. Mr. Riggsbee most recently served as the senior vice president, Corporate Finance at Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings, a $5.8 billion clinical laboratory company, where he oversaw the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and treasury functions. Previously, he served in various finance positions of increasing responsibility at General Electric Company. Mr Riggsbee began his career in the audit division of KPMG. Mr. Riggsbee received a Masters of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University, Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Mr. Riggsbee is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of North Carolina.
