The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Office of Integrated Technology awarded Science Applications International Corp.
SAIC
with the General Purpose Commercial Information Technology Equipment, Software and Services (IT Schedule 70) contract to support federal agencies and state, local, and tribal entities. The multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a five-year base period of performance, and three five-year options. SAIC will provide information technology professional services through this Schedule contract. IT Schedule 70 is the largest, most widely used acquisition vehicle in the federal government. It provides direct access to products, services, and solutions from more than 5,000 certified industry partners. Under the contract, SAIC will provide information technology professional services, including facility management, systems development services, systems analysis services, automated information systems services, programming services, backup and security services, data conversion services, computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) services, network management services, and creation/retrieval of IT related data services. "IT Schedule 70 is an innovative approach to provide a wide range of IT services to the federal government," said SAIC Sector President Nazzic Keene. "We are excited to be a trusted vendor for government agencies to obtain software products, support, training, and consulting services at approved pricing and with license terms."
