Northrop Grumman Appoints Alleace Gibbs Vice President Of Communications For Its Technical Services Sector

announced today that Alleace Gibbs has been appointed vice president, Communications for its Technical Services sector, effective Oct. 20. She will report to Darryl M. Fraser, corporate vice president, Communications. Gibbs replaces David R. Apt who is retiring from the company at the end of the year. "Alleace brings depth and breadth in domestic and international communications to this position, having led both internal and external communications functions within our Electronic Systems sector," Fraser said. "We look forward to her continued contributions to our company in her new leadership role with Technical Services." In her new role, Gibbs will lead all communications activities for Technical Services, including development and implementation of strategic communications plans for the sector and business initiatives; advertising; media relations; social media; employee communications; executive communications; and creative services. She will be a member of Northrop Grumman's Communications Council. Gibbs currently serves as director, Employee Communications for the Electronic Systems sector. In 16 years with Northrop Grumman, she has held a number of lead roles in division communications, communications campaign management, trade show planning and social media. Gibbs earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Morgan State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Bowie State University.
