Solar Stocks Shining In Monday's Session

Shares of solar companies are sharply higher Monday, adding on to last week's gains, despite a drop in the price of crude oil.

Some of the notable name include:

• SunPower SPWR up 2.5 percent
• First Solar FSLR up 1.53 percent
• SunEdison SUNE up 2.76 percent

Shares of the Guggenheim Solar Power ETF TAN are also trading higher, up 1.7 percent.
