Companies most likely to offer workers the opportunity to work from home are those involved in health care, IT, education, nonprofit and sales, according to Forbes.

The list of companies that offer telecommuting options is surprisingly extensive. One website, Flexjobs, has created a database of companies that offer work-from-home or off-site employment options.

That database currently lists 19,950 jobs from 3,853 employers. Work-from-home job seekers pay $14.95 per month for access to the database, as well as other features and job-search benefits.

Each year Flexjobs posts a list of the top 100 companies for remote work options.
