GoDaddy Files For $100M IPO

GoDaddy filed an S-1 for a $100 million IPO after the close Monday. GoDaddy manages domains and online presences for customers ranging from individuals to large corporations. At the end of 2013, GoDaddy handled 57 million domains, or 21 percent of the world's market. In the filing, GoDaddy sees small businesses as its primary growth vehicle. There are 28 million small businesses in the country and according to a 2013 study, more than half of them still did not have a website. Year over year, revenues are up 24.1 percent (through 2013), while earnings rose 28.8 percent to a $199.9 million loss.
