US stock futures traded mostly flat in early pre-market trade, ahead of earnings from Coca-Cola Co

The Empire State manufacturing index for February will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET, while the NAHB housing market index for February and e-commerce retail sales for the fourth quarter will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 4 points to 16,131.00, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures fell 1.30 points to 1,833.70. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index dropped 2.25 points to 3,658.75.
A Peek Into Global Markets
European markets were lower today, with the Spanish Ibex Index falling 0.84%, London's FTSE 100 index dropping 0.08% and STOXX Europe 600 Index declining 0.45%. German DAX 30 index fell 0.21% and French CAC 40 Index tumbled 0.47%. The euro zone's current account surplus fell to 21.3 billion euros ($29.2 billion) in December, versus a revised EUR23.3 billion in November. UK's consumer price inflation fell to an annual rate of 1.9% in January. German ZEW indicator of economic sentiment fell 6 points to 55.7 in February. Asian markets ended mostly higher today. Japan's Nikkei Stock Average jumped 3.13%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 0.23%, China's Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.77% and India's BSE Sensex surged 0.83%.
