, an owner and operator of tanker vessels, announced today that it plans to offer 12,000,000 shares of its common stock in a public offering. Navios Acquisition expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase an additional 1,800,000 shares of common stock. Navios Acquisition expects to use the net proceeds from the public offering for working capital and other general corporate purposes, including the repayment of outstanding indebtedness and/or the acquisition of vessels, although no such acquisitions are pending or have been identified.
