. Hess owns more than 1,300 gas stations. A spokesperson for Hess could not confirm the report. A BJ's spokesperson was not available for comment. CVC Capital Partners and Leonard Green & Partners are the private equity owners of BJ's Hess closed Tuesday at $81.15, a gain of $0.24.
