CTC Media Names Alexey Shchedrin Chief Strategic Communications Officer

announces the appointment of Alexey Shchedrin as Chief Strategic Communications Officer, effective today. Alexey will head the Strategic Communications which includes the following functions: Financial Communications and Investor Relations, which will continue to be led Ekaterina Ostrova; Public Relations, headed by Maria Starovoyt; and Communications Support for Television Projects, headed by Elena Shneyderova, who was previously responsible for the CTC channel public relations. Yuliana Slashcheva, CTC Media's Chief Executive Officer, stated: "Alexey has the task of centralizing management of CTC Media's communications system by making it more effective and synergetic for our company.
