Raytheon Confirms Win of US Air Force IDIQ Contract

was recently awarded a 7-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract from the U.S. Air Force for Network-Centric Solutions-2 (NETCENTS-2) Application Services. "The NETCENTS-2 Application Services contract allows Raytheon to bring our full breadth of capability to the U.S. Air Force. It enables us to provide the latest information, sustainment and engineering solutions to our customers," said Bill Jones, vice president of Systems Modernization and Sustainment for Raytheon's Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) business. "We look forward to working with the Air Force to efficiently and affordably meet their mission needs." Raytheon is one of six awardees under the IDIQ that has a total combined ceiling for all awarded contracts of $960 million. Under the IDIQ contract, Raytheon will compete for a wide range of information technology services, including sustainment, migration, integration, training, help desk support, testing and operational support for the Air Force. Other services include, but are not limited to, data processing, web-services support and service-oriented architecture constructs. "This is a great opportunity for Raytheon to support the U.S. Air Force and other federal agencies through this contract vehicle," said Susan Haeseler, director of the Raytheon IDIQ Service Center. "Raytheon will bring expertise from all four of our businesses to offer innovative solutions for the rapidly changing needs of the customer." The NETCENTS-2 Application Services contract will be managed through the Raytheon IDIQ Service Center, ensuring efficiency and contract optimization by the entire company and its teammates.  Raytheon's IIS business provides a full range of ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance), navigation, weather, cybersecurity, training, logistics and engineering solutions and support for the intelligence community, government and commercial customer.
