The following are the M&A deals, rumors and chatter circulating on Wall Street for Tuesday July 2, 2013:
American Realty Capital Properties to Acquire American Realty Capital Trust IV for $3.1B in Cash/Stock Deal
American Realty Capital Properties (NASDSQ: ARCP) and American Realty Capital Trust IV announced Tuesday that they have signed an agreement whereby ARCP will acquire ARCT IV for stock and cash in a transaction valued at approximately $3.1 billion. The deal is expected to close by the end of Q3 2013.
American Realty Capital Properties closed at $14.90 Tuesday, a gain of $0.10 on almost twice average volume.
SanDisk to Acquire SMART Storage Systems for $307M in Cash Plus Incentives
SanDisk (NASDAQ: SNDK) announced Tuesday an agreement to acquire SMART Storage Systems for $307 million in cash and certain equity-based incentive awards.
The deal is expected to close in August, 2013.
SanDisk closed at $61.59 Tuesday, a gain of $0.17 on lower than average volume.
Outerwall to Acquire ecoATM for $350M in Cash
Outerwall (NASDAQ: OUTR), formerly Coinstar, announced Tuesday that the company has agreed to acquire ecoATM for $350 million in cash. Outerwall currently owns a 23% stake in ecoATM.
The transaction is expected to close in Q3 2013.
Outerwall closed at $61.29 Tuesday, a gain of 1.5%.
