US stock futures are lower this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbled 87 points to 14,960.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 12.20 points to 1,611.50. Nasdaq 100 futures declined 22.75 points to 2,933.50. US stocks closed lower on Wednesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbling 1.35% to 15,112.19, the S&P 500 index dropping 1.39% to 1,628.93 and the Nasdaq 100 index declining 1.12% to 3,443.20. Data on weekly jobless claims will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET, while the Markit PMI manufacturing index (flash) for June will be released at 8:58 a.m. ET. The Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index will be released at 9:45 a.m. ET. Data on existing home sales for May, the general conditions index of the Philadelphia Fed Survey for June and the Conference Board's index of leading indicators for May will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET.
