Pre-open movers US stock futures are higher this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 42 points to 15,254.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 4.70 points to 1,652.80. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 5.75 points to 3,004.00.

A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were higher today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index rose 0.03%, London's FTSE 100 index gained 0.29%, French CAC 40 Index gained 0.36% and German DAX 30 index rose 0.13%.

Asian markets ended higher, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average jumping 0.67%, China's Shanghai Composite surging 1.38% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 index rose 0.30%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 0.17% and India's Sensex gained 0.19%.

Broker Recommendation Analysts at Deutsche Bank downgraded TRW Automotive Holdings (NYSE: TRW) from “buy” to “hold.” The target price for TRW Automotive Holdings is set to $67.

TRW Automotive Holdings' shares closed at $61.50 yesterday.
