US Stock Futures Open Mixed After Release of Fed's Minutes
US stock futures opened mixed this morning, after the FOMC minutes revealed that the Fed would continue with its quantitative easing in the near term. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 5 points to 14,739.00 and S&P 500 index futures dropped 0.60 points to 1,582.20. Nasdaq 100 futures declined 3.75 points to 2,848.50.
Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 31 points to 14,643.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 3.70 points to 1,566.50. Nasdaq 100 futures declined 9 points to 2,806.50.
The Jobless Claims Report For wk4/6, 2013 will be released at 8 30 a.m. ET. The Import and Export Prices Report for Mar, 2013 will be released at 8 80 a.m. ET. Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index will be released at 9 45 a.m. ET. The EIA Natural Gas Report will be released at 10 30 a.m. ET. The 3-Month and 6-Month Bill Announcement will take place at 11 00 a.m. ET. The 5Yr Tips Announcement and 30Yr Bond Auction will take place at 11 00 a.m. ET and 1 00 p.m. ET respectively. The FED Balance Sheet Report and The Money Supply Report will be released at 4 30 p.m.

Wall Street expects iGATE Corporation (NASDAQ: IGTE) to report its Q1 earnings at $0.42 per share on revenue of $271.85 million. iGATE Corporation's shares closed at $18.09 yesterday.
Bed Bath & Beyond Inc (BBBY) released its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings results on reporting a high fourth-quarter profit. Bed Bath & Beyond shares closed at $65.50 yesterday.
European markets opened wobbly today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index rose 0.60%. London's FTSE 100 Index dipped 0.34%. French CAC 40 Index rose 0.63% and German DAX 30 index gained 0.54%.
Asian markets moved up, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rising 1.96% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 rose 0.79%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.30% and India's Sensex climbed up 0.74%.
