US Stock Futures Down Ahead Of Pending Home Sales Index

US stock futures are lower this morning, as investors are awaiting the pending home sales index. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 33 points to 14,445.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 3 points to 1,554.10. Nasdaq 100 futures declined 4.25 points to 2,795.50. US stocks closed higher on Tuesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 0.77% to 14,559.65, the S&P 500 index gaining 0.78% to 1,563.77 and the Nasdaq 100 index surging 0.53% to 3,252.48. The MBA purchase applications index will be released at 7:00 a.m. ET, while the pending home sales index for February will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. The EIA weekly report on petroleum inventories will be released at 10:30 a.m. ET, while data on farm prices will be released at 3:00 p.m. ET. SAIC
