AGL Resource Increases Dividend to $0.47 from $0.46

The Board of Directors of AGL Resources Inc.

has approved an increase of $0.04 per share, or 2 percent, in the annual dividend rate on the company's common stock, to an indicated annual dividend of $1.88 per share. The new quarterly dividend rate of $0.47 per share is effective for the dividend payable March 1, 2013, to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 15, 2013.
