SAIC Wins $58M Task Order by US Army National Guard

announced today it was awarded a prime contract by the United States Army National Guard (ARNG) to provide support for the operation, modernization, expansion and further evolution of the Enterprise Operations and Security Services (EOSS) concept and the associated information technology (IT) services. The single-award, firm fixed-price contract has a one-year period of performance, four one-year options, and a total contract value of approximately $58 million, if all options are exercised.  The task order was awarded under the General Services Administration's Alliant government-wide acquisition contract. Work will be performed primarily at an SAIC facility in Vienna, Va. The ARNG-G6 maintains and operates ARNG enterprise IT systems, including the Wide Area Network (WAN) known as the GuardNet XXI, exchange and web services, as well as video and audio conferencing and other systems. Under the contract, SAIC will support the ARNG to evolve a traditional IT operation model into a services-oriented, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)-based concept of operations. Services will include common engineering and engineering project support, enterprise systems standardization support, data networks system engineering, security engineering support, service strategy and design, service transition, service operations and continual service improvements.
