By 10:20 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 82.67 points, or 0.62%, to 13,411.52, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had gained 7.54 points, or 0.52%. The NASDAQ composite index rose 18.01 points, or 0.58%.

Some of the narrow based indexes that are driving the markets are Chinese Solar Stocks, which have gained 6.5%, Solar Stocks, up 3.4%, and Stem Cell Stocks, moving 2.1% higher as a group.

In Tickerspy's Chinese Solar complex, LDK Solar Co (NYSE: LDK) had surged 12.2%. LDK Solar's trailing-twelve-month revenue is $1.15 billion.

The best performing Tickerspy Solar stock has been Daqo New Energy (NYSE: DQ), which was up 15.5%. Daqo New Energy shares have dropped 34.66% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 12.74% in the same period.
