Brink's Names Mel Parker Pres of Brink's North America

, a global leader in security-related services, today announced that Mel Parker, 45, has been named President of Brink's North America, effective December 31, 2012. Mr. Parker will oversee the commercial and operational business of Brink's in the United States and Canada, with approximately $1 billion in annual revenue and 11,000 employees, and will report directly to Thomas C. Schievelbein, Brink's Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer.
