The Board of Directors of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. ("Mid Penn")

has declared a dividend of $0.05 per common share on expected fourth quarter 2012 earnings. The dividend will be payable on December 31, 2012, to shareholders of record as of December 24, 2012.
